Representation. After Last Database taking office, the president moved away from the Christian Social Party (PSC) that supported him to reach the Presidency and that ideologically seemed to be his natural ally. However, beyond the power disputes and media confrontations when applying an economic plan, both the government party Last Database and the PSC respond to sectors of financialized and agro-exporting elites with common interests. This cohesion takes shape in situations of social mobilization such as the current one and allows the government to apply strong repression with the support of the Armed Forces, the mass media Last Database and the economic elites.
